Been seeing lots of posts of people feeling down, so I know I'm not the only one who could use some good thoughts! So I was just wondering if anyone has something they're feeling happy about right now, or something you are maybe excited about.

For me- I just got my W-2's in the mail so I'm going to file my tax return, pay off my outstanding medical debts and get a new tattoo  smilewinkgrin I'm going in next week sometime to set up the appointment and get the idea drawn up, but I am getting a lotus flower on the top of my right foot (ouch!!) with some water waves around it going from my pinky toe, behind the lotus, and curving up around the left side of my ankle, and little orange blossom flowers (Florida's state flower) floating in the water. Hard to explain so it makes sense, but when it's done I'll be sure to share some pictures, hehe.

Anyone else have something good to share? Even if it's just something small, sometimes it's nice to focus on one good thing instead of a bunch of bad things.

I finally got to see my psychologist today after not making three appts because of snow. We had a good session, it went well. The roads were clear and the sun was out. So it was a good day.

Your tattoo sounds georgous.

Hugs, Karen

Thanks for the positive post.

I haven't really got anything specific to be happy about to be honest, but I just feel generally happy in myself so I guess that is something positive to share!

I got up early again today, that always makes me feel good. I usually sleep until noon and feel like I have lost half of my day.

Best wishes to all

I got a phone call a few minutes ago from the company who makes Remicade, and I qualified for their RemiStart program and they're going to pay my insurance deductible AND reimburse me for whatever I have to pay out of pocket (up to my $1500 max) for my Remicade treatments, which I should be starting next week. I'm so excited because I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to afford them, but now it won't be an issue.

That is really cool, I am so happy for you. It is great how they are helping you out with this. And I hope the medication works for you. Living with UC isn't much fun. Best wishes for a wonderful day.

I paid off my last credit card debt today and that makes me feel very good.  I guess I am just happy right now to be alive.

Aurora,

You must be really relieved. I think that it is great that you paid off all of your debt. Something like that takes so much pressure off of us.

Have a great evening,

Hugs, Karen
