newbie here.
diagnosed with bipolar 20 years ago, while working full time in high pressure environment.
Retired 15 years ago--lead a pressure free life now-- but have occasional bouts of worthlessness stemming from sense of zero accomplishments
"ups and downs" rolleyes since retirement.
currently (since Feb 2008) on 50mfg zoloft and 100mg lamictal.
meds help but not 100%. Sleep well, appetite OK but still have the blahs especially in the morning.
by noon-time i'm good to go).
self-medicated with alcohol for a while, but have been alcohol free for 10 years.
Question: dosage level seem reasonable? anybody else combine these two meds?
any insights welcome.

Hi Popster,

I don't have any advice on the medications, hopefully somebody who does will come along.

I just wanted to welcome you to the forum. This is a wonderful place to come and full of wonderful members. I am so happy that you have joined us.

Maybe you need a small adjustment with your medications, it might be worth talking to your doctor.

Hugs, Karen

Many thanks, Karen, for a quick welcome.
I've scanned the site briefly and like what I've seen.
Looking forward to future chats,
Pops
