I'm angry, anxious, agitated, confused, I don't know what the world means and why I'm here.
I went to my first appt with new Pdoc to get on meds after being off of them for a year and a half. I showed up on time at 7:45am and the Dr. wasn't in and they cancelled my appt. and told me to call later. Maybe God doesn't want me to be on an anti-depressant maybe I'm supposed to go to an OB Dr. and get on hormones instead. Is it depression or pms or both. who knows.

Having trouble with decisions, do we buy a house, do I eat now, should I leave this parking lot that I've been sitting in for an hour because I don't know what to do?

Is it because I'm a poet that I'm depressed or does depression cause me to write poetry and oftentimes very bad poetry. Why doesn't God tell me what to do when I ask for guidance. And is it his voice or mine pretending to be his that sometimes gives an answer?

Sorry for this black puddle...this puddle in me is now on the street of the forum and you may splash through it until it's destroyed. How else to expel the demon...

Big Breath and slow the thinking down...........nice and easy now.

When you fight and resist the way your life is, you create a state of fear and upset that destroys your effectiveness and almost always makes your situation worse.

You close down inside. You lose your ability to see clearly. You get tunnel vision, and you interact in a way that destroys love and creates opposition and resistance against yourself.

When you get upset, you think that the upset is caused by what happened, but this is never the case. Upsets are not caused by what happened. Upsets are caused by fighting and resisting what happened.

The moment you let go, everything seems to change. With the fear and upset gone, you become creative and able to discover solutions you could never have seen before.

Put this morning behind you and give yourself some breathing space.  When you are ready pick up the phone and reschedule an appointment, choose which physician you think will be most helpful to you right now.  Gyn or Pdoc ??

Remember to be good to yourself, and know you will get better.  I know as I have been where you are and still go there from time to time.

Gentle Hugs to you today and please know you are cared about and supported by all here in the Depression Forum.
