I have been worrying about
my dad, and his back, since it's been bothering him a lot lately. I just got off the phone with him, and he told me that he was in the ER last night. I'm glad they didn't tell me then, cuz I would have flipped, but he was having symptoms of a heart attack-pain into his shoulder and arm. He has a heart condition, so my mom basically made him go to be safe.
All is well though. I couldn't handle it if it was a heart attack. It turns out that since his lower back has been hurting, he's been compensating and thus hurt his upper back, and has a pinched nerve. They gave him stronger pain meds (he was taking Lortab and it wasn't helping) and he's at home comfortable now.
The thought of him in the ER with heart attack symptoms frightens me so much...my hands are shaking now. Poor Dad!
On top of it, I woke up throwing up at 2:30 in the morning. (this is an ongoing thing with my crohn's)
I hope the rest of the day gets calmer.
Just needed to vent to all my friends here!
Thanks for listening!
