Hi Chad,

Sorry to hear that you've been sick! It's hard to deal with depression and anxiety at the best of times, and when your body is fighting an infection, it really feels like your defenses are down. I hope you are able to get lots of rest despite the emotional upheaval. Your body needs sleep to heal itself. I really hope things get better for you, and hope you're taking good care of yourself.

Chad ,

I am sorry to hear you have been dx with the flu.  That can really knock you down for a bit and even when you start to feel better it takes time for the body to completely recover so do take it easy.

Remember everyone gets the flu and if you have depression the flu seems overwhelming on top of your feeling  down already so try to stay in the moment.

There is help for your depression and we are here to support you.

Take care and  drink lots of fluids.  :-)

Hi Flaminjo,

I wanted to welcome you to the forum. I use meditation, too, and I find it really helpful. I hope you will come back and post some more!
