Your body is smarter than you are

The human body is the most wonderful and complex creation of nature. It has a fine and precise balance that works like clock and is seldom noticed or acknowledged in times of good health. If the balance is disturbed even slightly, the body gives signals for help, whispering quietly, yet continuing to follow the demands put on it till it reaches the point of breakdown and actually screams for your attention. Your body is smarter than you are; it never lies. It realizes the importance of restoring the balance for maintaining health and happiness. Read the following warning signs which your body gives when it senses that the balance is affected:

Hair: Dry, lifeless, brittle, falling up in lumps, dandruff.

Skin: Overly dry/oily, acne, frequent rashes, pale color, frequent bruising.

Nails: Ridged, soft, brittle, white spots.

Digestion: Frequent indigestion, bloating, abdominal discomfort, gas, diarrhea and constipation.

Mouth and Throat: Bad breath, frequent sore throat, sensitive mouth, gums, teeth, colour changes in tongue, dry tongue, dry mouth.

Ear: Frequent infections, pain.

Bladder: Frequent urination, water retention, pain or discomfort on passing urine, anal itching.

Eye: Itchy, red, watering, pain discoloration in the white portion, trouble with vision.

General Health: Any kind of aches and pains, chronic tiredness, fatigue, headaches, irregular sleep patterns, choking, feeling of pressure in chest, anxiety, dizziness, lack of interest, nausea, low attention span, breathlessness, sudden severe increase or decrease in appetite, fever, mood disturbances, fogginess, frequent colds and coughs.

These signs are the first indicators that something is a miss. Our reaction is always to “mask” or suppress them, by use of symptomatic treatment. The solution is to be alert and have it checked at the earliest.

Thanks for sharing this Delhi. I do agree that the human body is capable of a lot, but I might not fully agree. Is hatred a good thing for instance? Because we tend to say revenge is sweet. It feels good. Our body is pumping us full of endorphins and dopamine, rewarding us. But I wonder whether taking revenge is in fact a good thing, and not a destructive thing.

Anyway, without the signals we get from our body's, we would likely to be death in a very short time.

Thanks again for sharing,

Hi Erik,

I don't think revenge is sweet, but I do think that what goes around comes around. I have had experiences of people trying to hurt me, and then from another source, they get paid back. I don't do it, it just happens. But I am still not actually happy about it. I feel if that person didn't go around being selfish and hurtful, bad things wouldn't be happening to them. It never fails.

I don't want to get in religion, but it is said that vengance is of the Lord, that we aren't suppose to seek vengance. So like I say, what comes around, goes around. And if we are there to witness, then we can realize that there is no reason to feel anger towards that person, they have already gotten punished. I hope that this makes sense. It might not have even been what you were talking about. But that is my mind for you.

I hope that you are having a good day Erik.

Hugs, Karen

PSA...thanks for your post. I'm a firm believer in the mind-body connection, and I know in my own case, I have seen the effects of stress and emotional upheaval. I'm glad you posted the info here.
