Meditation has been a chosen way of life in ancient cultures like China and India for thousands of years. It is gaining acceptance in the western world and its tremendous benefits are recognized by even those who work in medical profession.

Meditating on the own will most likely be disappointing as you may not attain the results that they desire. Meditation must be guided by a guru or an expert. If you want to meditate, trying it by yourself can result in frustration. This is, because, it is impossible to meditate on our own, especially if you are a beginner.

Without a guide, you will always be running to answer your mobile phone, run into the kitchen or getting distracted even in a secluded place. SRF Meditation Gardens in Encinitas, California have been designed especially for those wanting to meditate in its beautiful serene surroundings. Deepak Chopra center at La Costa Resort also offers guided meditation every day. Some of these classes are even free.
