Hi family- just got home from a big day at work teaching kids who are super angry all the time. its tiring! it also made me hungry, and so i pose this question to you all:

What is you all time favourite comfort food? Your food pick me up?

Mine is chinese. I love the flavours, I can always eat it. Then again sometimes the only thing that will hit the spot is some greasy carbohydrates or baked goods!  rolleyes

It would have to be blueberry muffins. My mom used to make them for me when I was home sick from school. Happy memories. :-)

I'd have to add Cadbury's Dairy Milk to that list. Chocolate is normally chocolate but that stuff is heavenly.

My favorite comfort food is home made chicken noodle soup.  My Grandma used to make it for me especially when I was sick and it was wonderful.  I have the recipe and make it now myself.

Dear Aurora,

You should make the soup and sell it to us when we have the sniffles or the flu and need some good homemade soup.   :-)  I  never did master soup and my Grandmother used to make her own egg noodles too.

Awesome of you to have carried on the recipe.

Aurora

Would you mind sending me the recipe? Id love to know how to make a proper, traditional chicken noodle soup- you have to understand this: my parents are vegetarians and i was raised as one for the first 18yrs of my life- so no chicken noodle recipe to be passed down from my mum. Id love if you could email it to me, only if thats not a hassle!

Have to go with cereal. I could eat a bowl of cereal with milk and sliced banana every meal of the day!
