I don't know whether this question has been asked before, but what is your favourite colour? And also, why do you think that is your favourite colour?

For instance, mine is green. It has to do with nature. Green leaves and green grasses and green plants, they all seem equally wonderful and mysterious to me. I often envision myself wading through a green see of grasses, with a clear blue sky above me.

Have a wonderful day everyone :-)

I want to say black- but i cant: its not a colour, its a shade.

I use it as the base of most of my artworks- and the basis of most of my wardrobe!

But real colours: red, purple and green. Cos they compliment black so beautifully.

My favorite color all by itself is purple. My whole house is decorated in different shades of it. It makes me feel relaxed...especially light purple... and it's just visually appealing to me. However, my favorite color to wear is yellow. I have several different shades of yellow/gold tops, not only because it's a good match for my hair and skin tone...lol...but because it makes me feel bright, sunny and happy! :-)

I love red !  Red makes a statement.........it says here I am, look at me, I must be alert and positive. Fire engines are red.  Well ok some are yellow now, but they should be red.  LOL

My favorite color is black, which is an absense of color. But I paint with it a lot and it makes all the other colors stand out.

Good topic Erik.

It's either sky or navy blue although I'm inclined to choose red given that it's the colour of my team

Hi Erik,

I'm like you....I love the colour green, because I love being outdoors in nature. :-)
