Hi everyone hope all is well with all of you! I'm doing ok just been fighting the depression some days are worse than others i'm sure you experience that as well. I'm learning to take it one day at a time sometimes one second at a time. My anxiety and panic are better thank goodness,now it's this darn depression that don't want to seem to let go. I started my first womans group today and it went well they are very nice women who attend. I'm really looking forward to getting to know them better we exchanged numbers so if I need someone to talk to I can all one of them which is great! Thank all  of you who have post support,reassurance and such nice words to me on the panic/anxiety board and even here. You'll never know how just a few small words can mean such big things!I've been trying to keep busy so the depression doesn't get worse but somedays it's very hard just to get out of bed let alone face anyone or especially anyone in the outside world. I am so glad to hear your woman's group went well and I sure wish we had something like that near where I live.

What a great support system and a way to meet new people.  It sounds like you are making progress.  I am very proud of you so keep taking one step at a time and you will soon feel even better.

Hi April,

You said it…..there are some better days and some worse days, but you have to keep moving forward, one day at a time. I think it’s awesome that you started a women’s group….what a great source of support for all of you. Hang in there, and keep trying. I think you sound really strong and positive. Thanks for posting.

April, glad to see you are doing the group thing.  I think you will find this very rewarding.  Still, as you note, this is a day by day thing.  Look forward to the good things, hang in there, and keep posting as we are interested in how you are doing.  May tomorrow be even better than today.

It sounds like you are really doing all the right things. Depression is so hard to beat. It takes so much effort to coordinate nutrition, exercise, positive thinking, productivity &, if needed, medical help. It's definitely not an easy journey & I can certainly relate to that. Just keep remembering how things have seemed really bad in the past but yet they worked out & eventually got better. They will get better this time too.

Come post here whenever you need support. Everyone here is so wonderful & ever-ready to offer encouragement.

April, I'm back today, just checking in. Anything good happen today? Frances is so right on with the comment that it's not an easy journey. I'm still on it, but with the help of some meds that work for me, I feel I'm making progress. Not cured, but making progress. Hopefully you will find the right doctor, counselor, medication, etc. that will help you make good progress as well. That day will come. Hang in there! May tomorrow will be better than today. I am glad your day was better today and even thow you had some ups and downs you are making progress.  Just remember one small step in front of the other.
