I posted this in AP as well-

My friend Dee was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 24, 4 years ago.  she fought it and fought it, endless rounds of treatments, she never gave up. The cancer metastisied and riddled her body and she developed tumours in her brain, behind the eyes and in her back. She was always positive and hoped her battle would help other people who suffered also.

Dee was a primary school teacher, a kind, gentle and warm spirit. She fought the good fight, but lost 2 days ago and now rests in peace- age 28.  you are NEVER too young for regular self breast checks. if you have been putting off a mamogram cos its uncomfortable, dont wait any longer. I am shattered by this loss. she was 1 year younger than me, and you could not have met a more giving or selfless person.

Rest in God, my sweet friend. Truly you are an angel.
