I just saw an ad for an anti depressent. It's PRISTIG. Has anyone used it? If so what were the results? I am deeply depressed but every anti-depressent I take causes insominia and I am dead on my feet all the time. Not sure what's worse depression on being exhausted.

hi mb333. welcome to the forum. i am on pristiq, 200mg, around 6months now. less sedating than effexor, itis a dirivertive of effexor, thus transition is easier. works better on depression itself, than say with a dx of depression/anxiety. we are all different, thus seek medical advice. all the best, a fan of pristiq. jamie.

dx, mdd, severe borderline personality disorder.

FROM HARA: You can always try Clonazapam and Trazadone . I'm sorry I don't know what you have tried. Insominia is part of the game we play with anti-depressent meds as well as others. Please read the little brochure that comes with your meds those are very important.
