decided not to see the lady, too emotionally exhausted. buzzy flies to adelaide in the morning. will be going to tullamarine to see him off. looked after bob today. very depressed is he. found out that because of some reckless behaviour he had no $ left, hadn't taken is anti-dep and other mds for a week, hence i went to the chemist and he was able to book them up. yeah i went back with him and yes he took his medication. also he rectified the situation with my neighbour and buzzy. gave him some food to take home and some tobacco. in terms of the lady, well i need more think time, too early. may catch up in a week or 2. my gut instincts said no tonight and i always follow my gut instincts, they rarely get it wrong-plus i am just too exhausted. have an excellent week end everyone.

cheers, jamie

Hi Jamiee.

You certainly are a great and caring friend to your neighbors.  They are so lucky to have you around to check in and help them and they must be so appreciative of your efforts.  I, for one, also agree in following your gut instincts.  Mine are usually right on target and the few times that I have ignored them I realized the hard way that I shouldn't have.  Besides, it sounds like if and when you are ready to see the lady, that she will probably still be around.  As you are doing, you need to make sure you are taking care of yourself and putting your own needs first.  And this should certainly reinforce to her that she should also put your needs in priority status as well.

Get some rest and take care!

Cass

jamie,

You are one classy guy and what a dear friend.  I think you are wise to follow your gut when it comes to your lady but I do wish you peace and happiness and most of all I wish you love.

See you after my vacation.

Hugs
Kitt

Hi Jamie,

You are always right to follow your gut instincts......we're given those for a very good reason! Trust your inner guide, and you will know when the time is right. I hope you get lots of rest, and take care of yourself as well as you do for others. (((hugs)))
