Karen,

I was able to get into chat but there was no one else there at the time I was online.  I hope others came along later.  :)

Heej!

Karen, thank you so much for keeping this running. I will do my best to do my part as well for the coming Tuesdays.

How are you doing by the way? We haven't spoken for a while.

Take care!

Hi Erik,

I have been doing okay. I am working still part time at a local gas station/convenience store. I work tomorrow. But I just had five days off in a row. So it isn't bad. They fired our manager. That helped things some, she didn't really like me very much. I think that she was hoping that I would quit. But I stuck it out and I am glad.

Life has been pretty good for me. I have been happy. Not anything super, but happy. So I can't complain. I have been accomplishing some goals and that makes things better. I didn't do a lot on my days off. Mostly rested and picked blueberries. It was fun to be in the woods.

I hope that you are having a good day/night where you are. I hope that things are going well for you.

Heeja Karen,

Good to hear all this :-). Are the blueberries ripe for picking now? I always though they would be later in the summer. But that's cool, maybe I'll go out to the woods as well to find some, as I love to make jam out of those.

And yeah, things are going better now. I just hope that it'll linger. But we'll see.

Take care!

Hi Erik,

Our blueberries are ripe now, but there are some green ones still, so they will be ready for picking for a while to come. I am looking forward to blackberries. They are so much easier to pick, except for the vines are picky. I usually look like I have been in a cat fight with all the scratches on my arms. But I enjoy it so much. I just like being in the wilderness and listening to all the sounds of nature. Last year we heard coyotees when we were going back to the truck. They were on all sides of us. It was spooky, but cool.

Take care Erik, I am glad that you are feeling better.

Hugs, Karen
