hi guys, urethrogram done. lots of problems with the proceedure tthough. dye did not want to penetrate the bladder, they took a stack load of pictures, was leaking through the top of the cathater, stricture was clearly evident, blockage shaped like a string bean pod. to all you guys, hurt like heck. they used 2 balloons as the dye was having trouble getting past the blockage. see the urologist next tues. radioligist and nurse beleive that surgery is required. let u know next week. no gain without pain!! with loving kindness. jamie.

ps, the pain has passed, took a bit. am greatful for the thoroughness of the radiology dept. was a tad surprised, this hospital has let me down a lot in the past. the workers are human!! the specialists a tad arrogant, but for a hospital with a bad rep it is improving. hopefully the mental health depts can take a leaf out of the radiology dept!! cheers. jamie. it helps being compassionate to the workers, they do earn every cent of their money, and definately deserve more!! and compassion tooooooo!!
