I feel as though my life is on a downhill spin and i can not get a hold of it. I am in major debt going to lose everything. My family has disowned me and i have no contact with them. I feel very lonely and that its me against the world. I just want to wake up one morning and be happy but i can t see that happening anytime soon. I donno anything any more. I don`t really know what else to say.

Hi there b4,

My name's Ivy. I'm one of the Crohn's Disease moderators, but I like to keep an eye on the depression forum and say hello to anyone who posts while the Depression mods are offline. I'm not sure where you live, but this is traditionally a very quiet time on the forum. Things usually get a lot livelier once the Americans wake up.

Anyway, a very big welcome to you. I'm sorry to hear about the troubles you've been having. It sounds to me as if you've been hit with a lot of hard stuff, all at once. I'd imagine things must feel quite overwhelming?

Ivy.

Heeja b4,

Welcome aboard! Feel free to say whatever you want to say b4. Sometimes it can be a huge relief just to write down everything that is bothering you. But you can take steps at a time, when everything at once is not comfortable.

We are here to help you b4, so you may take full advantage of us :-).

Take care my friend,

Hi b4

I am sorry to know what you are and what all you have gone through. We are all here to lend you full moral support at this hour of your bad times.

Don't loose heart. The things would get better. Do not whine that you are burdened with difficulties. As you undergo more difficulties, your karma will reduce. If someone comes across unbearable problems or difficulties, one has to understand that they are going to see good times shortly.

Therefore, do not get upset or distressed when misfortunes befall. Welcome them instead. It is not always summer or winter. Fortune smiles on you after misfortune and vice versa.

To illustrate this, God made fifteen nights dark and filled the other fifteen with cool moonlight in a month. Nothing is permanent.

So cheer up. Have a good Sunday.

Hi B4,

I just wanted to welcome you to HealingWell. You have come to a good place. And I agree writing thins out does make you feel better. So vent away if need be. We are here to listen and give advice.

When you wake up, don't feel that it is you against the world. Be one with the world. You are one of God's special creatures and you are just as important as the next person. Remember that you are special to him and all of us.

Take care my friend,

Hugs, Karen

I'd like to extend a warm welcome to you on your first visit to Healing Well! To help you get the most out of the Depression Forum please take the time to browse our threads.  You will find many wonderful posts by the members.

I am sorry to hear you are in a bad place right now but coming here and sharing with others who know where your coming from and what you are going through is a good things.

Please do feel comfortable in sharing as much or as little as your comfortable with.

Never lose hope in dealing with your fears and depression. Notice your feelings, figure out what's real, ask 'so what?', make it bigger than life, walk through it, and celebrate who you are. Do these things, make them habits.

You may benefit from talking with your physician as medication and therapy may be something that would help you.  Also exercise and a healthy diet are very helpful.

Again a warm welcome to HW.
