had a good w/e. went and saw mum and younger bro. other bro and sis were away. helped mum around the house, mum is on sick leave from work. old wrist injury, screw and plate are somewhat dislodged. also has carpul tunnel in same wrist and osteo-arthritis in thumb region. here it is called womens wash hand syndrome. mum is a carer-thus cannot lift, etc. she is not sure about the surgery, thus i helped her with some pro and cons analysis. i have been given an new style record player, thus i am playing on of the iron maiden albums whilst i await the seroquel to kick in. hey my footy team got up-yeah we were playing mums and bros team who are well placed for the final series coming up. afl. australian rules football. i follow carlton-the navy blues, others the geelong football club-aka, the cats. funny that i live in geelong and follow a traditional melbourne team, although i was born, lived and worked in carlton for many a year!! mum in melbourne but a cat fan!! go figure. it was good for our boys to knock em' off. have a good one guys. jamie

karen, had a mate overstay his welcome. got back from the weekend away-lot of travel to get back, and within 5 minutes of me getting home his van turns into my driveway. bob was over too, yet i informed them both that i am tired and need some rest - i am having a early nite. steve would not budge. i had a shower to give him a hint, even had my tea, although he just sat their drinking his grog. at 20 to nine he finally left. 5 min before he said that he did not want to go home, i said you have one and you have been here long enough and that i really need to go to bed. thus i had a bad nite, i was overwhelmed by his repitition in conversation, loudness etc. migraines insued as did sleep disturbance.

today i have just made up a visiting time for everyone. it is structured, the times are specific and i noted that they are to be ahered to complicitly. it is in a water proof cover and will be stuck to my door. i need time to study, for me, for cleaning and for myself, thus the visiting timetable. ps. no prob with bob, he left early, and tried to hint to steve. a couple of weeks ago when i was very unwell bob reminded him to respect me by leaving at a reasonable time. yeah he has no real friend bar me, albeit i help him, but i am not his therapist.

cheers. jamie

I understand Jamie, it is hard when you have friends over and you have things to do. Good for you asking him to leave. I am just sorry that you didn't feel well. I know how loud people can be obnoxious at times. They just don't realize it. Too bad you couln't record him so he could hear how he sounds.

I am glad that you put a schedule up on your door. People will learn to respect your llimits. I hope that you are feeling better today.

Hugs, Karen
