life can suck, and be brilliant. you can be insulted, not heard and invalidated. you can just miss the bus, after running for it for 30 seconds. you can step in doggy doo, someone will say hi, someone will give you the bird, someone will jump the queue, someone will smoke at the bus stop-and blow smoke in your face, your bank will make a stuff up, thus you cannot access your account, and or your power gets cut off.

hey guys, this can happen, but do not let it get you down or cranky...........because there are people who get this, plus some on a daily basis. for me, i always remember that there are people out there doining it tougher than me.

just some thoughts.....

Lovely little thread.  Everything, EVERYTHING, including depression, how we handle it and how we are perceived is about attitude.  Depression is a butt kicker but I simply refuse to be a victim.  I know that this has helped me immensly and depression is no longer something that keeps me down or holds me back.

nicely said- ive been feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment, alot of 'why me'? and all that crap, and then my friend who is the same age as me (29) just recently died of breast cancer- and she never complained. her attitude was amazing, it really puts things in perspective.

Thanks Jamie- you are so right about being positive- we have so much to live for, even if its not always clear cut. there is hope!
