I haven't been here in a while, but just checked in and see you haven't posted lately. i know you weren't feeling well, but hope you're doing better.

I was feeling so much more hopeful about life lately and then bam! I had a car acccident on Sunday and am back in the pit.

I am thankful no one was hurt and although it wasn't my fault am beating myself up for not preventing it. I lost my wonderul car and now have to deal with insuranceand  finding a new car by myself.

I have a rental car and am terrified to drive it.

It seems that whenever I get to feeling a little up, I get smacked back down.

I have had some moments in the last two days when people have supported me like angels with their words of encouragement and ran across a prayer I had written two years ago on a scrap of paper in my nightstand which recorded the trust I had in the Lord back in 07 when things started going bad for me.

I still trust, but wonder why the delay in answers and new problems popping up always to take away the little joy that comes my way.

Would love to hear from you Aurora.

But a word from anyone would be appreciated.

Hi Korissa,

Hopefully when things go down, then they will be up again. I go through that, but they always get back to normal. I guess this is the Lord's way of getting us to really appreciate the good. So relax and just take things one day at a time. Live in the moment and enjoy as much as you can. I hope that you are able to get a new car that you really like a lot. I am glad that nobody was hurt. But it is never a good time for an accident to happen, and that really messes things up for us.

Aurora,

Yes, where are you, I hope that you are feeling better than you were. We all miss you.

Hugs to both,

Karen

I am sorry things have been tough for you and yes, car accidents can scare the heck out of you.  Give yourself plenty of time to heal.  It does seem when things are down something else goes wrong.

When your fears have the best of you, it is easy to feel that things will not get any better. This is not true. There is much help available in today’s society and the best way to deal with your fears is to find effective ways to overcome them. Instead of focusing on doom, stay in the moment. Give yourself breathing space. Consider what matters to you. Establish a few manageable goals, then take small steps toward achieving them.

I will say a little prayer for you to help you get through this rocky time in your life.

Aurora,

Hey there, are you OK?   As you can see you are missed here in HW. Please know we are here for you.

Health & Happiness to both of you,

Kitt

Thanks all!

Jamiee, I'm repeating to myself what you said--it was just a hunk of metal! I will keep reminding myself of that!
