Hello and I gained 30 lbs on Cymbalta even thow my Doctor told me it was weight neutral.

I have been off the medication since the end of May and the weight does not want to just go away.  ARgh !

have not been on this medication, wanted to say hi. so hi, i am jamie, been in similar situations, correct med but weight gain, or loss. check with doc on ways to keep it in check, it is possible, for me it was sometimes take the good with the bad. keep talkin' with your doc, maybe other members may have some ideas. keep well and safe. with compassion, jamie

Cymbalta did not help my depression, not that I could tell really. For 2 weeks I did not have an appetite and then it turned into me being sick and throwing up. I didnt gain any weight. I actually lost 10 lbs when I did not have an appetite... I kind of liked that... but I dont suppose it is really worth it when I couldnt tell a difference in my depression, etc.... hope this helps. take care

was on cymbalta for about 2 months. Didn't really notice a weight gain but it helped my depression alot. My insurance don't cover it and I got tired of fighting them for it so I went back to celexa. Guess I'll just have to wait until Blue Cross decides to cover it.
