Ok Im over 50 yrs old and had to loose a lower molar due to crack in the root and another lower molar on the right side for same reason. I cant believe how much this is bothering me.. They said the one cannot be replaced even with a implant due to it being the very last ( 2nd molar ) tooth and no bone and close to the nerve.

The other one ( 1st molar ) oppisite side bottom also can have a bridge or implant both of which I heard bad things about. I have all my others minus 3 wisdoms I still have 1 wisdom but im so dam gun shy now I will loose more and im still in pain from this one because it came out in pcs and I had to get knocked out.

I sure wish I could live my life over.....

You might have to get a partial put in. That isn't so bad though. It isn't the end of the world.

I think that you are being quite hard on yourself right now. So please ease up and accept what has happened and go on with your life. I know that it sucks, but you will get use to it.

Best wishes,

Hugs, Karen

I believe Karen gave you sound advice- while it may be hard, you need to move on and leave the past in the past.

2 roots that were cracked and under the gums removed, six teeth out, 2 other rotten ones removed, massive periodontal disease, 3 front teeth with fillings into gums, reshaped, drilled etc. 2 wisdoms to come out, they are growing sideways, 2 bottom molars that are rotten will come out in 2 weeks, and will be getting a partial upper denture soon-i hope. because our dental system is in chaos i have had the pain of very rotten and carious teeth for over 3 yrs now. and yes i have been on the waiting list for over 7 yrs. so, i understand the pain part!! i have even pulled 2 half teeth out myself.

i have a lot of other medical stuff going on also, but what is in the past stays there for me. the here and now my friend. each day is a new day, as is our life.

I had the wierdest thing happen to me a few years ago. I caught some type of flu virus. Two of my front teeth on the bottom got infected and had to be pulled. I couldn't figure it out and still don't understand it. It jsut happened one day out of nowhere. You can imagine, I was really bummed and upset. But what good does that do? You can't change what happened, you have to just deal with it. I wish that would of never happened. They were perfectly good teeth.
