Things seem dull and a little grey when I look at them. Things just don't seem as bright as they used to be. I don't mean that metaphorically but I mean LITERALLY my vision seems just a bit different. But not as in my vision has worsened. My voice is also sounding different to me, it's sort of flat sounding. I was just wondering if these are typical in someone who has depression. From what I know I have anxiety problems and depersonalization/derealization but I also show alot of signs of depression and I was wondering if anyone else noticed a flat voice and a different looking world in a subtle way along with the common signs of depression that you can look up online.

Thanks alot!

Much love

Hi Paige,

Maybe this has to do with the way that you are feeling. When we are depressed we don't see the brighter side of things. This could be what is going on with you. Here things are greyer, it is that time of year. All the leaves are on the ground. There isn't much color.

But it sounds like you are seeing the darker side of things, and your voice could be coming from a lack of enthusiasm. If it is possible. Who knows when it comes to depression. I just hope that you feel better soon. Keep posting and let us know how you are doing.

best wishes,

Hugs, Karen

You are welcome Paige,

You are a wonderful person and you deserve to be happy. I know that being in the hands of depression is so very difficult. Look for one good thing each day, no matter how little it is, it still counts. Be happy.
