I am 15, and i honestly feel like the only person who feels like this sometimes.  I was diagnosed with depression and my doctor says it might be bipolar disorder but its too early to know for sure.  I am on cymblata but I still get those episodes of feeling soooo depressed, and than on a drop of a hat i am perfectly fine.  I have friends i can talk to but they all say that everyone has mood swings and that i should just do things that make me happy.  But its like i dont have the will to even do that.  My parents arent exsactly very supportive and i feel so alone and that no one gets me
does any one else feel this way, or am i just crazy? and sorry for just ranting about my life. i tend to do that a lot=[

no need to apologize. it sucks not having support. welcome to Healing Well. i dont have depression but my husband and my mom does. you are not crazy. i would try to get an appointment with your physician, or try to get your mom to make you one and talk to your doctor. maybe a little counseling and different medication may help. you will get a wonderful set of advice here.
The only person who can make you happy is you. Be your own self and love who you are because each and every one of you are wonderful for who you are

hi anoymous11,
hi sorry to hear that your not coping to well at this time. I would like to say that your not the only person with depression ect,so darling your not alone. Everyone on this forum has some kind of depression, chronic illness and the list goes on so please know that ur not alone and if you need to talk anytime just come here and let it out. Thats what i do and it helps me so much. Getting back to the other do you have a good councellor at ur school and if so could you talk to him/her?? From the sounds of it you need to talk to sombody that is not involved with your family in a personal way. I find its better to talk to a person that knows you and you only. Also you mentioned bi-polar do you know when they are going to diagnose your condition, and also are they going to put you on a different medication than the cymbalta?? Maybe a change is what you need at this time.
Never feel alone or ashamed, embarrassed by being depressed or other as it's a disease and not a put-on ok. Your still young and i'm sure with the right help and med's you can live a really good life my darling.. Hope this help's you some. and i also have a 22yr old daughter so i truly understand ok.
take care of YOU,

Hi Anonymous,
Welcome to healing well and the depression forum.  I am sorry that you are having a hard time.  When you are bipolar, you are moody.  Your moods can change really fast.
But here are some sites that you want to check out that might help you.
These sites are all free.  You will be able to talk to people that are in the same age limit as you are and I am sure that you will be understood there.
Keep posting here and let us know how you are doing.
Hugs, Karen
