Hi All

I had meeting with my psychiatrist yesterday and he has added 25mg of quetiapine which I am to raise to 50mg next week, This is to help with the awful thoughts and nightmares I have been getting, I also take 10mg of escitalopram so hopefully will mix well. Has any one been on this medication? or combination of meds?

Ben

Hi Ben,

I am sorry but I am not familiar with this medication. Just wanted to pop in and say hello.

Best wishes,

I was also on seroquel for a while. I didn't have any problems with it, and it definitely made me sleep.

Good luck,

Hi

Thanks for the posts, This is my second day on the Seroquel (quetiapine) and noticed a little difference in regards to sleep but still getting the bad thoughts/nightmares but hopefully these will ease. Do antipsychotics work in the same way as antidepressants ? Have to go back and see me doctor at the end of next week.

Thanks

Ben
