Hey everyone. I just wanted to post quickly and tell you all that today I finally had a good day. I've had tons of health issues lately, and yesterday was really my breaking point. I was fed up and depressed and had a nice little pity party. I talked with a good friend last night, and was telling her that I really needed a good day to let me know that they were out there. I told her I was so tired of not feeling well, and just wanted to have 1 good day-not be in pain, have energy, etc.

Today I woke up and actually had energy!!!! I got studying done, caught up on homework, and even vacuumed the house today. I actually felt like my old (or should I say young) self today!

Just wanted to share with you all. There are good days out there. They may be few and far between at times, but they do exist. Hold on for them. You'll get there!

Thanks to all the people at HW who have supported me. Even reading posts of others in similar situations and reading the responses from some of you have helped me. I don't know what I'd do without HW!

Hey Becky,

It is so cool that you had such a wonderful day.  Sometimes they are few and far between, but at other times they can be consistant.  So hopefully you will continue to have them.  I am so happy for you.

I had a good day too.  I had to work and some wierd things happened.  There was this guy that came in and said I shorted him 20.00.  Well ( I work at a gas station/convience store), I wasn't thinking and thought that maybe I did and gave him the 20.00.  I didn't think quick enough. I should have said that I would check my register at the end of the shift and if it was over, I would give it to him.   Then about an hour or two later.  He brought the 20.00 back because he found the money that he thought that I shorted him.  I am so happy that he was honest.  That would have costed me the money out of my pocket.  And I never should have given it to him.  I am so happy that he was honest and gave it back to me.  So that ended up being a not so bad day and I am so thankful.  My register came out good too.  So that was even better.  Also I have tomorrow off!  Yeah.

Well, I have rattled on enough. tongue

I hope that you have a wonderful day tomorrow as well.

Hugs, Karen

When we have drive offs, we call the police in the next town. They give us a complaint number, so we dont' ahve to pay for them. Otherwise we would, which isn't fair. They should make them pay before they pump. But they don't. So you just hope everybody is honest.

Take care my friend.

Where are you that you don't have to pay ahead? In Atlanta, you always have to pay before you pump. I just thought it was like that everywhere...I guess not!

  1. it is getting that way in australia.
  2. they still want people to come in and pay so staff can continue to upsell and hope for impulse purchases by the customer.
  3. some companinies are making customers pre-pay at peak times.

cheers. jamie

I am in Michigan Becky. Northern Michigan, and the tourists complaing if they have to pay first. We are suppose to trust them to pay after they pump. Usually they do, but we still get drive offs.

Jamie, how are you doing today? I hope thatyou are feeling better now.

Hugs to all,

Karen
