sorry guys, very sick at present. copped a serious gum/mouth infection. dentist thought i'd be okay, was horribly wrong. last week the whole of my left side blew up. was very sore as he put in 5 stitches and he had to cut one tooth in half to get it out. trouble with eating and sleeping and just doing the basics. i had 2 out and an infected gum cleaned up. his assistant said shall i get a script ready for anti-boitics, he declined. my mouth needs a break from the dentist, in particular extractions, albeit i really need one more that is hurting out. arrrggghhhhh!!! anti-boitics slowly helping, although my gut is very upset. yeah sweats, vomiting and diaroreah. i missed school last week, an important workshop too!! i will tackle some work over the w/e. health first. been hard with my friends, as it has been hard to talk. i do not like this isolation, it has escalated my depression. hopefully i come good soon. thx 4 listening. sorry i haven't been around guys. my love to you all.
jamie.

Jamie,

I posted to you on the other thread, but wanted to say once again that I hope that you get better soon. I am so sorry for what you are going through, but in the end, there will be no more pain and infections. It is just going to take a little time to get there. And remember next time it is only one more tooth. You will be all done. And you will feel so much better.

Keep us posted on how you are when you feel up to it, know that we all are thinking about you.

Hugs, Karen

Hi Jamiee,
Uggh!  That sounds so awful.  Hang in there.  One thing that helps me when I feel so sick & start to get really depressed about it is to keep reminding myself that I am not really falling back into depression that I am just really sick & sicknesses can feel a lot like depression.  I feel run down, sick & cold all the time.  I have trouble sleeping.  I just want to stay in bed (which unfortunately reminds me of the days when I would be so depressed I wouldn't get out of bed for much of anything).  People treat sick people & depressed people the same, sometimes.  So there are a lot of correlations.  It takes everything I have to keep reminding myself that I'm not going to become depressed again.  And then I try to call a friend or someone & find something positive to talk about, even for just a couple minutes.  It does help me; I hope that might help you.

If not & you really find yourself falling into depression, please call your counselor & doctor to talk about how to treat it before it gets worse.  I hope you have been getting sleep.  I know that can make everything feel worse.

blessings,
frances

Hi Jamiee, I am so sorry to hear about your health problems. That does sound painful. I know how antibiotics can upset your system but if you have infection they will help you. It is just sort of grin and bear it while you have to take them.  I too am not feeling good from my surgery so continue to rcuperate but it is so slow.  Keep posting here if you need someone to talk to. It is hard when you are isolated from friends. I will say prayers for you and hope you are feeling better soon. You are right that your health comes first. Take good care of yourself, am thinking good thoughts for you.

Many hugs,

Aurora

Jamiee

I hope things start to heal, and you start to see yourself feeling better. Hopefully as your mouth and belly feel better, you will also feel better emotionally. Keep your head up! Things will get better!
