Hi Karen and all HW family, I am sorry that this is a work day for you Karen, but hopefully a kind soul will bring you that plate of food. What a kind and generous person you are today to give up your holiday. I am sure all are thankful to you. To all my other friends I truly wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. This is a day to be spent with our families and closest friends and I hope you are all doing so.  My sons are cooking our dinner, bless their sweet souls. I can smell the turkey. I am still recovering from my whole surgery ordeal and the progress is slow but I am coming along.  Would love to hear from any of you, Cass, Gem  -   DG I wish we could talk - have many questions I would like to ask of you if it is OK. Please send me a post and maybe we can have a talk.

Love to all,

Aurora

Hi Karen:  It's 9:00 pm my time now and I am at my parents house (in a neighboring state).  I am so sorry that you had to work today.  That is so unfair.  However,, I at least hope you are getting time and a half or double pay rate to at least cushion the unfairness of it!  I certainly hope that somebody did bring you a big plate of turkey along with a delicious desert. yeah

Aurora: I am so glad that both sons are with you and cooking dinner.  I know how much you love having them with you.  And I am glad that even though it is slow you are getting better.  ....I'll try coming on in another hour and perhaps we could meet up for a chat.  If that doesn't work feel free to start a post and I'll respond to it as quickly as I can!

And to anyone else who may be reading, I hope you had a happy gobble, gobble day!

Cass

Thank you Becky,

I was very fortunate, two different people brought me a plate of food at work. That was so nice of them. I really appreciated it. I broght them home and my husband and I enjoyed them. Plus three different kinds of pie. Yum. So it wasn't so bad working after all.

I hope that you are having a good day today Becky. Thank you for the virtual yummies. You are so sweet.

Hugs, Karen
