i am 28 years old and because of endometrosis been forced through menopause 3x. i havent had to do this since sept of 07'. i had a child in aug of 08' a few months after i had him i got on prozac for post partum depression. so, i have been on prozac for 13 mths and i feel that it doesnt work. i no longer feel depressed...i feel angry all of the time. its like dr jekyll and mr hyde. one second im completely fine and then the next i want o punch someones head in. i have even yelled at my child before. its starting to affect my relationship. i get mad for no reason and start fights constantly. i went to my female doctor and asked her to check my hormones because that last time i acted like this is when i was forced through menopause. she told me i was too young(diff doc than who forced me thru menopause) to have hormone problems...she said i was just stressed. but, i bleed 20-25 days out of the month on this birth control i am on. i am on implanon. i got on it in feb of this year. at first i thought my body was getting used to it but now its a little aggravating. i went to behavorial health today because i hate the way i am acting and the doc said i am just depressed. i have been depressed before and it does not feel the same. i want to stop being angry all the time...especially the way it happens...so quick, coming out of no where. anyone can help??????

Kaegan,

You seem to know more where it's at than your docs. You are asking for help and being honest with them about your behavior. They are just chalking it off likely because they don't know what to do. All I can do is wish you well. I would "doctor shop" until I found someone who was interested in helping. You have one of the most important jobs in the world, being a mom, and I can tell by your post that you want to be a good one. Have faith in your goal and keep looking for the right doc, he or she is out there for you. Good Luck, esoR
