Hi everyone, I am on Zoloft 150 mg. I have been on it for 10 yrs. I am also on Synthroid, Vistrail, blood press pills. I am thinking I need to add Abblify to my Zoloft. I meet with a physcologist tomorrow. Sometimes, I feel ok other times I feel depressed or certain times of the day I feel depressed. Has anyone who is on Zoloft or not had any good luck with Abblify. I did try it once a couple of months ago, during the morning (normally take my meds at night due to a sensitive stomach) it made me really nauseated and I threw up which I think will help if i take with my zoloft at night and made me very very tired. I am not feeling real good right now as I had the stomach flu a week ago and still achy etc. Anyone also had the stomach flu and had the achiness and not feel well for like a week after or more and the dizziness? I appreciate all the help! Thank you!

Hi Bethers,

I take abilify and have had much success with it.  Though it doesn't work for everybody the same way.  I have been on it for over a year, and my depression is pretty much in remission.  That is what my psychiatrist said anyhow.  I feel very lucky.  I am switching from effexor to pristiq.  Next week I will be completely off of the effexor.  So I am happy for that.  I was taking 5 of the 75mg capsules a day.  I couldn't lose any weight, I feel like I am losing weight now.  But the battery ran out in my scales and I have to get another one.  lol...  Of all that things that could happen.  But my clothes are a little looser so that is why I feel like I have lost weight.  I hope that I have.

I hope that you have good results from the abilify.  I take mine in the morning, but it doesn't bother my stomach at all.  I noticed a little nausea with the pristiq though for a couple of days, but it only lasted a short period of time.

I hope that you feel better, let us know how you are doing.

Hugs, Karen

Both of you use Ablify then? Do the side effects go away?

Ok met with dr. he wants to try me on maximum dosage of zoloft from 150 to 200 first and then if that does not work add abblify. Anyone ever had to go their max dose on zoloft to get the best result.

I take abilify and that works really well for me. I think you should give it a try, though it might not work for everybody. I have had good results from it.
