Hi Aurora.  I've been wondering about you, the same as Karen has.  I hope you are still continuing to recover well.  It would be great to hear from you!

Hi Karen, Cass & Jamiee, Thanks for your post and for caring. I am getting better physically. I am feeling very down however. I see my Pdoc tomorrow so i'll see what she says. The holidays are hard for me. Also, I don't have much to do as I can only run maybe one errand a day and then come home because I get too tired. I also think just realizing how major my surgery was and what I went through is getting me down. I was glad to hear from all of you. So many people who were my friends here no longer seem to be posting anymore and I don't get many replies when I do write. It seems things have changed so much. But I will keep in touch with you and let you know my progress. Thanks again for everything.

Hugs,

Aurora

Hi Aurora,

I imagine that your body went into shock with the major surgery.  It takes a long time to heal.  At least to get back to where you were before the surgery.  Sometimes I wonder if we ever do.  But keep a good attitude, that has a lot to do with healing.

Break up your regular routine into smaller jobs.  Realize that it may take you two trips to do what you normally did in one.  I went through that with the fibromyalgia.  There was a time when I couldn't even drive myself to town, now I do shopping and everything by myself.

I think that people come and go Aurora.  Some of them come back.  I know one of the members has been off because her computer is down.  But it does seem that the people change on and off.  But we are always getting new members so that is cool.  You just have to get to know them.  Enjoy people as they drift through I guess.  That is what I do.  Though there are a few of us that seem to stick around longer.

I think it depends on what is going on in people's lives to as to whether they post.  Well, you were gone for a while.  But you came back and I am happy for that.  I guess I am pretty much always here.  I take a break now and then and am not on the computer so much, but I try to pop in daily if I am not working.  That is another accomplishment that I have made with the fibromyalgia.  I never thought that I would be able to work again.  But I am part time and that is huge for me.

I hope that you are having a joyous holiday season Aurora.

Hugs, Karen
