hi jamie here.

have been thinking aboout theorists and analysts.........and i think i am sick of them!! maslow, yeah has relevance, but it is tiring, pavlov, skinner, freud-err, some of their stuff people find elluring, me, no longer eccentric, just weird!! if we are to prevail in this world, do we need further weird theorists, and anaylsts or do we just accept our flaws and live life in this brave new world?

appreciate comments and feedback. both good and well......

Hi Jamie,

I think it's a combination of the two. I think we need to accept ourselves, and embrace our flaws, but that doesn't mean we have to settle for unhappiness. I also think it's dangerous to attribute too much to any one school of thought. I've always believed that truth falls somewhere in the middle of many schools of thought. It's not the naming, theorizing which is important, anyway. (For example, a diagnosis doesn't make you who you are.) But how you react, how you treat yourself, how you are treated, that's where the real trick lies. If that means we have to keep thinking, keep working, keep analyzing, I'm good with that. But I agree there's a point where you have to say, enough. I'm who I am.
