Oh no. I posted how I was going to take it with my zoloft 2.5 mg and took it last night very very sick, nausea, not feeling right, so tired upset stomach. I called the pharmacist and told him I have a very sensitive stomach to meds and that maybe i should take a dif mood stablizer. Does anyone have any suggestions as I feel so sick. :(

Hi Bethers,

I am sorry that the abilify isn't for you.  One other that I know about is risperdol.  I liked it because it is more of an as needed medication.  I just gained weight on it, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you will.  There are other mood stabilizers that I don't know about

I hope that somebody comes along soon with some information for you.  I would consult the doctor about other options.  Also the bipolar forum members might be able to share with you.  As often mood stabilizers are used for bipolar medications.

I hope that you feel better soon.  I don't remember having any stomache issues on abilify, but I did some with pristiq, though it only lasted a short while.  Ask the doc if the issues will go away.  Often side effects do.

Best wishes for a wonderful day.

Hugs, Karen
