Hi everybody,

I realize for people who are depressed that Valentines Day can be a tough holiday.  I just wondered if anybody wants to share their coping skills for this.

I myself, remember that it is just another holiday to make money.  Though for young couples and old alike, it can be a very special day.  Let's try to wish others a happy Valentines Day and not be depressed about it.  Know that it is just another day, whether we are alone or with somebody.

Here's hoping that you all have a good day.

Hugs, Karen

I just remind myself I'd rather be single than unhappily married...and like you said it's just another day.

That is so sweet Jamie, you still show your love to Georgia. And now you still have your love to celebrate with your lady. That is wonderful. You are such a kind sweet soul.

Karen,

I have a husband now, but before I did I used to try and do something nice for myself -- go to a movie, get a message, buy myself some flowers and chocolates. Even now I know that nothing my husband can do for me will matter unless I'm taking care of myself.

(((Hugs))) to one and all,

I am going this singles awareness day to dinner and a movie, and you are all welcome to virtually join me.
What movie do you want to go see?
