hi all, confused confused confused

the increase in the cymbalta has made me quite sick-oh well surpose i will get use to it. qiute depressed, i did not know how bad i miss my lady until today. very disconselant at the moment. very tired, spent around six hours cleaning-at least the house is immaculate, yeah avoidance coping. need to do these darn assignments, i have no motivation at the moment. the days are passing me fast, the spinifex is gathering around me and swamping me. okay this sounds depresssing, because i am. being trying hard to fight it, albeit the body is not. bowel problems, massive fatigue and insomnia is not helping-i wish there were more hours in a day!! oh well i am human after all. i wish i could work-would really help as the bills are pilling up. but i am not ready. i wish i was. tomorrow is another day. until then, thx, sorry. i feel inept. jamie.

Jamie,

Dont' feel inept, you are a very capable person. Just in a slump right now and that is probably because you have just been through a lot. Physical surgeries take a lot out of us, no matter what the procedure was. It is a shock to the body.

I really do hope that you feel better soon. You will be back to yourself in no time.

Do you think the med side effects will go away with time? Maybe in a couple of weeks. I hope that you can endure until then.

Keep us posted on how you are doing. WE are all here for you.

Many hugs my friend, Karen

Hi Jamiee:  ..Just read back over your last posting as well as this one.  Took a brief break from forum as I was just not feeling up to it.  Anyways, I have read how much physical pain you have been in.  It is understandable then why your depression has become so much worse.  I hope the Cymbalta can stop making you feel so sick soon and let the positive benefits come through.  I too am on 120 mgs.  When I was first upped to this it was a real miracle worker for me.  It actually still is, so please hang in there.
Is this your last tooth coming out soon?  I hope it is.  You have always been so strong.  Hang in there for your assignments.  If you continue to feel so unwell would it be a possibility to get extensions for them?

Sending much positive thoughts and well-wishes your way!

thx cass and karen, caught up on sleep-missed my dental appt called, was told off 4 missing it by the nasty receptionist. the nice receptionist called, seen her yesterday, as i had the care plan done, dropped it off, was told that they, the govermnent has given some money for the dentures. she also knows that i am not 100%. will make an appt some time next week. i want to find out how much the government has kicked in, she said not to worry, i am as the dentist has not charged a cent. had the do not disturb up last couple of days, and yeah it is finally being respected. much luv to you both, with compassion, jamie. slowly feelin' better. the extra cymbalta knocked me 4 a few days-i think it is slowly kickin' in. be good, and have a wonderful day. jamie.

Jamiee:  I'm glad the nice receptionist called you back and let you know so quickly about your dentures.  Don't be too upset about missing your appointment.  You've been through a lot and I remember when my Cymbalta was increased it knocked the heck out of me too.  But that was good for you as rest is healing and you certainly needed that.  I know you have obligations but try to be kind to yourself.  You truly need and deserve it!  yeah

Jamiee!  I hope your depression lifts soon.  And just think when you get your dental work done, what a beautiful smile you will have.  Not been posting much lately, have been having a tough time with meds.  Off all now but Xanax.  Doing OK.  This winter has been a bit depressing as well, here in sunny North Carolina, we have had over a foot of snow and ice and in the teens at night.......burrrrrrrrrrrrrr.  Trying to hang on until spring.  Miss you and I hope each and every day finds you feeling better.  Hey, when you get done with your house, would you mind stopping by mine?  I have been a bit lax lately in the housekeepping department.

Good vibes your way my friend.
