Dear sarlou Hi , please don't feel ashamed every person's problem is real to them and you have two little ones to think of .You don't really give much information about what happens to you when you feel this way sarlou .I would encourage you to get a journal and write as much as you can about what your feeling at these times .Not being able to communicate with your spouse is significant I think but you really need to talk to a therapist ,and share everything you can with them .They are trained to help you , we have a chat room that you can use sometimes people are there . Perhaps a local church could help as well if you need someone to talk to .If your still up let me know and I'll talk to you in our chat room if you like , I know what its like to need someone to talk to .Best of luck to you sarlou.

Hi and so sorry things are so rough...has your MD considered PP depression? It effects all of one's perceptions...glad you are connected with your doctor...maybe therapy might also help...wishing you better days, big hugs, J

Hi Sarlou,

Welcome to the depression forum. I had to try many different antidepressants before I found what was rifght for me. I also take a mood stabilizer and an anti anxiety med. But finally found the right combination. I hope that you do too. Counseling is the way to go sometimes. If you find a good counselor, it is remarkable.

I am sorry that your husband isn't very talkative. Hopefully that will change in time. Have you thought about getting involved with some organizations or maybe volunteer someshere to make friends? It often helps, just to help others.

I hope that you continue to post. Know that we are all here for you.

Best wishes for a wonderful day.

Hugs, Karen
