Do you mind explaining what is causing your pain? I have fibromyalgia so I live with it every day too. I am just curious as to what is causing the physical pain for you.
Negative thinking doesn't help us. When you say that you will never ever be happy like you once were, you are setting yourself up for unhappiness. And you are setting yourself up to fail. We never know what lies in the future. You could be surprised at the chain of events that might take place in your life.

A lot of times you have to change your way of thinking in order to become happy. Do you have a therapist? I have one and it really does help. You still have to do the work, but they do guide you.
I hope that you get to feeling better soon.
I just realized that you have fibromyalgia too. So I understand your pain. Do you take anything for it?
