I just sent an e-mail to someone that I haven't seen since 1975... There is no way that I would ever include a picture of myself on Facebook... Living the good life--free of depression, self-medication, and bad choices probably would have lessoned my age lines, but, seriously, only a minority of people can handle looking in the mirror after a certain age and I am not one of them... I kept thinking about what I looked like back then and how I would be perceived--if my friend could see me now... Yes,  I know that we should accept that old face looking back at us in the mirror and move on, but, it's easier said than done--that's all I'm saying...  Take Care, all....

It is easier said than done, but we have to accept ourselves for who we are. Makes things a lot easier. I am getting up there too, but still feel young, so I don't really care if my face shows my age.

I hope that you can accept yourself and love yourself for who you are. Age brings character.

Hugs, Karen

I know I earned every line on my face, and I wouldn't deny them for anything. They represent the balance and wisdom I've been able to achieve so far.
