Thank you for the advice to those who relpied to my post[So this is the basic summary...]Honestly, I am going to think long and hard about it.

I am having a difficult time trying to decide whether or not to tell my parents. I mean i feel that i have disappointed my parents so much in the past regarding other issues. I guess i feel like my dad doesnt believe in me anymore when he uesd to be my biggest supporter. My mom and i havent alway had the closest relationship but its getting there. I recently had to switch schools and i had a really hard last year so i'm scared. I'm terrified that telling them would just make everything worse. I know that honesty is important, but i just dont want to make things worse and end up having another horrible year.

Your parents aren't even a fourth of your problem, hon. It's the boyfriend that's trouble. Please think about what we've said. I think your parents have a right to be concerned. It would be a very grown up thing to do to break up with this boy and come clean with your folks. I think they would really be impressed with you.

Cedabug,

I agree with Myjoy, I think that you should tell your parents the truth. I don't think that you would be burdening them.
You don't need this guy's baggage.  Even if you don't tell your parents about him, break things off with him because he sounds like bad news to me.

Hugs, Karen
