Hi htd14,

With depression we go up and down.  Are you taking any medications to keep it even?  Do know that you will be back up again.  Maybe take a day and just rest and relax and see how you feel tomorrow.

It gets so hard when we are down because we can't see tomorrow.  We feel like we are always going to feel this way.  But we aren't.  So keep your chin up.  Like I said, allow yourself a day of rest.  All of the work will always be waiting for you.  It isn't going anywhere. lol...  I know because I have been there, but after getting a little rest, it doesn't seem so difficult.

Best wishes to you.  Remember we are always here to support you.

Hugs, Karen

Hi there,

I am sorry that you are feeling so low at this time.  I hope that the doctor will write you a slip so that you can take some time off of work.

Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Hi htd14,

Sounds like you are really relieved that you have two weeks off of work.  Try to get proper rest and exercise while you are doing this so that when you have to go back to work you will be in tip top shape.  Also good nutrition is important.  Eating a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits are so important.  So use this next two weeks to do what you can do to feel better.  And do some nice things for yourself too.  You deserve that.

Hugs, Karen

PS I haven't felt very energetic and haven't been doing anything and it is the weather.  The barometric pressure plays a huge part on how we feel.  It has been hot and humid here.  Maybe the weather is effecting you too.
