Hi I'm new to this site I just found it and I'm a little desperate for help.
I've been getting depressed since I started my junior year of high school because a lot of things changed like friends and many things got complicated with boys. It started out with me liking this boy in sophmore year and well we became good friends but things just never worked out. I bared my soul to him and he did the same but we grew apart and I miss him. Over the summer I had a bonfire at my house and one of my friends brought over some  and I told her to not bring that here because well I'm not really into that anymore. I later on hosted another bonfire for another friend for her birthday and the friend who brought weed wasn't invited. The strange thing is all my other friends who supported my decision to tell the girl not to bring  are suddenly ignoring me and hanging out with her. I'm no longer invited to movie nights or anything. I have practically only 3 friends now but one of them lives far away and one is still liked by the group and the other is rather self centered. I feel really lonely and I can barely sleep at night sometimes I have to take sleeping pills and sometimes I consider . I would tell my parents but my parents are never home. When they are home all they do is get drunk and argue and my mother threatens to run away all the time and leave us. Both of my brothers are in college so they are free and I'm not sure if I can make it through my senior year of high school. I need help and I have no idea what to do.

Hi there,
Welcome to healing well.  I noticed that your two posts are almost identical.  So I am going to delete one.  Also had to edit, because we are not to discuss illegal drugs or suicide on this forum.
I don't know what advice to give you.  If you have three of four friends that you trust.  You are lucky.  They are few and far between.  So don't feel bad about that.
I am sorry that your parents get drunk.  That isn't cool.  Once in a while is okay, but on a daily basis, that is bad for you to see.
People who go where the drugs are don't respect you.  If you are against them, stay that way.  Don't do them just to go with the crowd.  I respect your way of thinking.  Good deal...
I hope that we cna help you some.
Take care, keep posting.
Hugs, Karen

Your home life sounds like it is less than supportive, and for that I'm sorry.
Keep the friends that you do have close, you'll need their trust and respect to make it through the rest of high school. High School is miserable without a few good friends. I only had 2 good friends by the time I graduated and a handful of aquaintences, so count yourself lucky with the people that stay by your side. It's all about who stays true to you when your back is turned is what I've heard over and over again. Being in high school is rough, but please know everyone has changes in friends and activities and such when they're in high school so what you're describing is not unusual.
Stand up for what you believe in though, if you aren't okay with drugs, say it. Make sure people know it. Those kind of activities are dumb anyways. So you should be proud of yourself for not wanting them in your life.
Good luck, keep strong, post here if you need support of course =)
