Unreality feelings... what to do

Hi everyone
Do any of you have unreality feelings sometimes? depersonalization
Like you are in a dream/nightmare and just need to wake up,
that life just isnt real?  you are just floating around.
Is that part of depression? what causes them and what is really going on during these times...or just loosing your mind?
What is the best solution to get rid of these feeling?  Hate them!!!

Im not an expert! I really dont know all the signs of depression, but I have had those same exact feelings before and the best way I dealt with them was to channel thru arts & crafts or your favorite hobby! Also talking with ppl on here has helped me alot!  Good luck dear and hope this helps some! turn

This time of year I get what is called dejavu feelings. A lot of it is memories. I think that comes with the season. It does feel like a dream kind of. But that has been my experience. I am use to it happening every year in autumn.

I've definitely felt that a bunch... for me it was because reality didn't make sense anymore, because things didn't feel the same. Also, depression can be its own weird foggy nightmare that can make you feel like you just exist. Just try to assure yourself that you are the same person and try to remember that things will improve and spend time talking to people and being around them.

Yes I've also felt like that at times. It makes me wonder if there is more wrong with me than I am willing to admit. But, I try and keep myself focused on a goal in the future and work towards that to keep my mind off losing my mind. If that makes any sense. When I don't have something to look forward to I really feel lost. Hope that helps at all.
