Hi Pazpeace,

Are you seeing a therapist for this?  I hope that you are and that it is helping.  You have a lot of past to overcome.  But it can be done.

Let us know a little more about your history with therapy, if they have helped you with your issues.

Keep posting.

Hugs, Karen

PS You will get support here.  I was having trouble posting so I stopped and then did an edit to add this.  I hope that you feel better soon.

I had severe ocd for 8yrs and was able to overcome it with exposure/response therapy. It took a lot of work, but it was well worth it. You need a good psychiatrist who understands ocd.

Paz,

You have been fortunate to have your parents step in and help you.  You are so lucky there.  They must be a great support system.

In my mind, I think you should continue with the counseling.  This is a great tool for ocd.  They will help you get through this.  You have a chance to succeed.  And I hope that you do.  Keep seeing the therapist and the pschyiatrist too.  You will get through this.  And we will help you the best that we can.

Hugs, Karen
