I've had depression since I was 14 years old amoungst other things. When I was 17, I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. My moods have been very up and down lately and what makes it worse is that my parther of three years is leaving me to be with someone else. I've never felt this down before in my life. I am now 20 years old about to be 21 and i feel very depressed, anxious, panic'd like nothing I do will comfort me. I have been coming across
even though logic is telling me not to think that way the thoughts have a mind of their own. I feel like my life is out of control. I know a break-up is hard on anyone but should you really feel this low? I feel so bad there are some days I just don't even want to wake up. I need help but I don't know what's the best way of going about it.. I mean day by day isn't working for me..

Hi Anna,

I am wondering if you need a little psychological help right now.  Maybe some counseling would be good for you.  I would start by talking to the doctor and go from there.

Keep posting.  And welcome to the forum!!!  I am so glad that you have joined us.

Hi, We often need help from others.  Know you are young and have plenty of time to improve.  I would suggest praying if that's something you believe in.... if not maybe you should reconsider turning to God.   Talking to a therapist can also be helpful.  Call your local mental health dept for an appointment.  Its often not too costly.

You have been depressed for years.   Their are many reasons for depression.   They really don't know for sure why people get depressed.   The chemicals in the brain are not rights.  I found out I had  high mercury levels after many years of depression.  This was caused by my amalgam (so-called silver ) fillings.   It took over a year after removing the silver-mercury filling and a heavy metals detox to start feeling better.

Do you have a lot of amalgam filling.  The ones that look like silver?  This can be a cause of metal health issues.   Did your mental health go downward after getting these fillings?  This is just one idea that can cause depression, but more common than not.

Best wishes,  JC
