I just read an exceptional piece an a Locked Thread written by H2LF.

She not only brought me to better feelings about my own situation, but she (I'm certain) was of great help to the person she was answering.

I truly believe that we are here on this earth to LIVE OUT OUR LIVES to the best of our abilities. Whether you are mentally ill, physically challenged, or healthy.

For what ever reason we are here, we owe it to ourselves, our families, friends and society in general to grasp every minute of time we have.

HealingWell has been a great eye opener for us all. Since I am in remission from depression right now, my wife asked me why I go to the site so much.

The answer is "because it helps with living my life to share feelings with others" yeah

How true. Thanks Ralph!

We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.
