Then I Found You

Lost and alone, darkness all around

Searching, never finding

Feeling empty

Never knowing what I had

Your strength, love, and faith

A ray of hope

A guiding light

Pierced the darkness

A well-known path

Forgotten, but found again

Searching, never finding

Looking, never seeing

Heaven on Earth

A treasure sent from Him Above

Facing the light

Then I found You
We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.

Yes Rosie, it is one that I wrote. I am starting to write poetry again as a healthy way to express what is inside of me. Not very good at it, but I find it helps me cope better with life.
