TOMORROW, TOMORROW, TOMORROW
IS JUST ANOTHER DAY -
A DAY FOR ME THAT CAN'T BE
JUST WASTED AWAY.
YOU SEE, I AM ILL, AND I FEEL
LIKE MY LIFE IS GOING DOWN HILL.
AND I'M TAKING MY FAMILY DOWN WITH ME.

I EITHER HAVE MISERABLE DAYS,
OR I HAVE MISERABLE NIGHTS -
WHICH TO ME IS JUST NOT RIGHT.

WHEN WILL THE DAY COME
THAT I WILL GET GOOD NEWS.
YOU SEE MY HUSBAND NEEDS NEW SHOES,
AND REFUSES TO GET THEM BECAUSE
I REFUSE TO BUY ME A SIZE 20
TO WEAR WHEN I GO OUT.
YOU SEE, ALL I EVER DO IS GO TO
THE DOCTOR AND BACK -
WHO ON EARTH WANTS TO SEE
ME? A PERSON SO FAT???

I AM POSTING THIS TO HELP GET THINGS OFF MY MIND,
IF IT WASN'T FOR HEALING WELL
I THINK I WOULD LOSE MY
FREAKING MIND...

I HOPE THAT IS OK TO SAY
BECAUSE THAT IS HOW I FEEL.
THE LAST FEW WEEKS
HAVE BEEN TORTURE
AND YOU ALL PROBALLY KNOW THAT AS WELL.

THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR
PRAYERS AND SUPPORT -
IF I'M NOT BACK FOR AWHILE
IT'S BECAUSE I
CAN'T SET-UP AT ALL!!!

Awe Patty . . . I'm soooo sorry you are in the dumps. I know that you have been really ill. I was hoping that you were recovering as we haven't seen you recently at the lupus forum. Sometimes when members are absent it is because they are actually feeling well and out and about doing things.

Stop in there and give us an update sis. Your poem was extremely expressive and cute!!

Hugs, prayers & blessings!

Sweet P.C.,

I haven't seen you for a while and your writings were good but not beautiful because you painted a very different picture of yourself. To me, you are. You are a name without a face here. We all are. I am so sorry you are going through such hard times. We all have that one day or another or many days. I guess it's the way we see things. As for being overweight, I can relate. All my life I was pencil thin. The past 9 years I have gained over 40 lbs from Lupus and meds and lack of exercise. When I got married I weighed 103 lbs. Too skinny. Please don't allow that to come between you and the outside world. I will pray for you today. God bless you.

Hugs

There is no such word as can't. Can't simply means wouln't. Grab as much as life as you can. Future is a long way away for those who don't believe. Don't build a foundation of life on sand. It will take it away with the tide. Love a little more, be unkind a lot less.

Hope things get better soon.
We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.
