Hello There! I am new here. Not sure what I should do. I am just looking for someone to talk to. Someone who understands what I am going through. I am a stay at home mom of a 3 year old daughter. Sometimes I feel like I have nobody to talk to about things that bother me. If my daughter is acting up I find myself getting so upset with her. There are alot of days I put her in front of the TV just do I won't have to play or bother with her. I hate this feeling that I am having on a regular basis. I am becoming very withdrawn from her and my husband. All I want to do is lay down and cry or scream or something. So if there is anybody out there that understands please contact me. Again I am just looking gor someone to talk to. Thank You

Hi there. I too am a stay at home mom and remember the isolation I felt at that stage. Is there a playgroup you can join where you live. I found this to be a life saver. Another thing I did was take a daily walk with my sons in the fresh air and sunshine. It made us all feel better. If you don't find your feelings improving soon, please talk to your dr. about this. Take care and post again.
Take care, Softy

Thanks for the input. I am in a group of woman called MOPS (mothers of pre-schoolers) through a local church the problem is they only meet once a month. I will try the wal method as long as the weather holds nice. Thanks Again

Just adding my welcome to the HW family. Glad you found us. We are here all the time so don't be a stanger!
We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.

Welcome Wolves,

That was a very brave post you made. You are speaking for many who are in the same situation and can't talk about it. Bless you!

I used to volunteer at the local grade school when I was a stay at home mom. I found there lots of things they needed help with there. Some things I brought home to do, and I would also volunteer for any task where the little one was invited to be with me. The folks at the nursing homes also enjoy a visit from moms with little ones . . . they brighten right up when they see children. I hope you can find a neighbor who is in the same situation as you. Try walking up the bus stop in the morning. When moms put kindergarteners on the bus, they usually walk to the bus stop with them and you'll meet other moms that way.

Softy is right, the walks and such help, but if you don't feel better REALLY soon, talk to your doctor about your feelings.

Welcome to the forum sis!

Blessings!
