Just wanted to see how everyone was doing. I miss you all and I am doing well in getting my affairs in order. yeah The "pity party" has come to an end and I await for results to every test imaginable. Thought I was going to need a transfusion. They took 8 large vials of blood. I will see.
I have been reading some of the posts and I hope some of you find peace here. I had to learn if you have a lot of members read your posts and few reply, it's because they don't know what to say or even perhaps they even think they are "corney". Be patient and things will come your way. Rome wasn't built in a day. My you all have peace and some sense of self-worth and happiness.
"Lefty" :-)
There is no such word as can't. Can't simply means wouln't. Grab as much as life as you can. Future is a long way away for those who don't believe. Don't build a foundation of life on sand. It will take it away with the tide. Love a little more, be unkind a lot less.

Good to hear from you. Hope you find relief from your ailments soon. Check back on us often.
We can respond to irritation with a smile instead of scowl, or by giving warm praise instead of icy indifference. By our being understanding instead of abrupt, others, in turn, may decide to hold on a little longer rather than to give way. Love, patience, and meekness can be just as contagious as rudeness and crudeness.

Glad to see you came back. It is hard to understand how this whole online friendship thing works. I just know that when I am a bit down it sure is nice to see something in my inbox. Just reading other people's posts often helps me realize that I am not alone with this DD. I also find it educational. For example I was taking zoloft and gaining weight. I noticed a thread on this forum whereby many others found the same thing. Hope you are doing okay. I know you wrote me an email many months ago regarding whisper and I apologize that I never replied. I think I too am overly sensitive when I get no replies and I actually can get paranoid that people do not like me just because I did not get an onslew of replies. I think it is just my low self esteem. It is so much easier to maintain self esteem when you have oodles of friends and family supporting you. I also found my esteem was better when I was able to work in the career I spent over 10 years training for at university. My friends and family have moved on with their lives since I became ill. So I find I really count on this place. I think my expectations are a little unrealistic at times. After all, it is just online friendship. Hope you are feeling better soon. I will keep you in my prayers. Judy/Effie

Good to hear from you. I hope you find some relief in the results to your tests.

The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.   Buddha
