just a thought. My emotional problems have become worse ever since I turned to the medical community. Now they want me to try Depakote even though there's the possible side effects of hair loss, liver failure and pancreatitis - plus its supposed to make me gain weight and make me tired. Do I want to be fat, bald, and lethargic? Think not. I'm beginning to think I should try natural remedies. I've tried:

-Valerian Root (it calms me a little and helps me sleep)
-Holy Basil (never took it like I was supposed to so never noticed any difference)
-St. John's Wort: Slight improvement with my mood swings
-Kava-Kava: It worked but is a bit too much for me

I'm curious about:

Sam-e
Rhodiola
UV lights(those lamps that mimic sunlight)
anyone tried these or had any positive experiences with natural remedies?

I don't know about meds or natural remedies, but please email me.
