This time of year we all, or most of us, find ourselves struggling with our emotions, feelings, depression etc.. in a more intense way than usual.

After a chat with a good friend,; rare indeed, lucky if you have one, I have been deemed 2; I have decided to start this thread and post some inspring, tasty, tid bits, every few days.

Please add to the thread as everyone sees fit, the more positive and supportive posts the better.

WE ARE NOT ALONE! We have each other.

"Don't be sad! Because the universe (original word. God) sends hope in the most desperate moments. Don't forget, the heaviest rain comes out of the darkest clouds."

Thank you Trina. You are right, this is a hard time of the year for many. I will find some words of encouragement too. I will post them. No brain at the moment other than today is the first day of the rest of your life...

Hugs, Karen...

Just had a friend check in with me too. I'm pretty down and hate even checking my phone, but It was very nice of her in the midst of her busy life. There is goodness around us!

PEACE.

INVISABLE AS THE WIND
PASSES BY UNBIASED
TO WANT ON NEED

ARTISTS EXPRESSLY YEARN
MONKS SEEK INTERNALLY
JOHN MUIR HUGGED THE TREES

ZEN CAN PRODUCE A FEELING
HONESTLY IS THE PATH
TRUTH IS THE GUIDE

open HEARTS WELCOME WELCOME IT
LOVE PROTECTS IT
CONTENTMENT NURISHES IT

PEACE WILL COME SLOWLY
EMBRACE IT, GUARD IT.
IT CAN BE HOLY OR NOT

PEACE IS RARE AND PRICELESS
DISCARDED BY MANY
FOR SHINEY THINGS

THOSE WHO HAVE HAD HATE, RAGE AND FEAR
DREADING OF TOMORROW'S
KNOW PEACE IS THE PARAGON

not be be redundant,
Peace all

from peaceful winds does grace blow,

and from waters cool,

mountains of icy lava-

may the pirate pass,

but out class does his mate,

the talisman is in his hands

and the winds be his fate.
do not feed the humans!!!

to follow your truth,

the wisest of promises;

bring joy to you-

but for all-

sing do the choirs of joy,

the journey be long but right,

my joy awaits,

and my truth is full of love-

for you all.
do not feed the humans!!!

Wonderful prose. Full of hope and life!

There is always a sunrise tomorrow, though it maybe cloudy the sun is still there. With the new day comes new adventures, chances and changes we may not even be aware of the move us along towards out joy..

Best words I have found for encouragement

Even the darkest of nights always give way to the brightest of days.

No idea who said it but I like it.
I am working on me day by day. Laughter and playing are our cures! Kids do this, why can't we?

Rx
Trileptal 300mg times 2 twice a day- bipolar
Celexa 40mg 1 time a day- Depression anxiety
Protonix 40 mg 1 time a day- GERD
Loratadine 10 1 time day- Allergies

The Dawn85

Stay strong, stay well and be happy even if it's fake at first.

HI Dawn,

something is telling me, it may have been St. John of the Cross, explaining the Dark Night of the Soul.

be thy word unspoken,

it is truth unsaid,

an unspoken bond of care-

i am enough, as you be enough,

the vision of acceptance;

the pain shared of insecurity,

is the truth unsaid,

alone we not,

flotsam and jetsams of people,

chaos.......but life is change,

that is the truth,

nothing else is the same.

and the sea,

enveloped and awashed,

like tears in a cup-

it runneth over;

the sea cries-

the falcon soars,

beasts of fables,

rhime of the ancient mariner-

a stranger in no land.

and the seas cry as the albatros dies.

Thought on letting go...

A POISON TREE by William Blake

I was angry with my friend:
I told my wrath, my wrath did end.

I was angry with my foe: I told it not, my wrath did grow.
And I watered it in fears Night and morning with my tears,

And I sunned it with smiles And with soft deceitful wiles.
And it grew both day and night, Till it bore an apple bright.

And my foe beheld it shine, and he knew that it was mine,—
And into my garden stole
When the night had veiled the pole;

In the morning, glad, I see My foe outstretched beneath the tree
